How to choose your card link (URL)

Your card link is the web address people open to see your card. You pick it once, on the Basic Info step of the card editor.

Steps

  1. In the sidebar, click My Card.
  2. On the Basic Info step, type your preferred link. It must be at least 3 characters.
  3. Wait a moment — the editor checks availability automatically and shows whether the link is available or already taken.
  4. Check the box confirming your permanent URL choice.
  5. Click Next Step.

Expected result

Your card becomes available at that address, ending in -card (for example, your-name-card).

Notes

Your link becomes permanent once you submit your card. After your design is submitted or your card enters production, the link field is locked and can no longer be changed. Choose carefully.

If the availability check fails (for example, because of a network issue), clicking Next Step retries it.
